Modern bath plugs

Every bathtub needs a bath plug to prevent the water from draining. Various bath plugs have been available for generations and have not changed in style. It is either a simple rubber plug that is connected to the top of the bathtub with a chain or plastic cord so that it doesn't get lost.
In most modern bathrooms, the bath plug, also known as a plopp plug, consists of a chrome-plated metal plate that completely closes the drain and is positioned in the drain using a height-adjustable guide rod. This Plopp plug is connected under the tub surface to a wire rope swivel actuator that can be operated via a knob on the top of the tub. This allows the drain stopper to rise and fall without the unsightly drain underneath becoming visible.

First, the drain valve and its individual parts are connected to the drain hole using putty. The drain valve is then attached with a threaded screw, the overflow valve is also installed, and finally the rotary knob is fixed with a screw. The overflow pipe is inserted into the matching overflow connection on the drain pipe.
All connecting pieces are sealed with sealing rings. At the end of the installation of the bath drain fitting, it is essential to check the tightness.
